THE OTHER GANDHI

Today, I was not feeling good. I had a little fever and cold.
The day was dry and temperature was also high, which made difficult for time to pass.
In due course, I started reading newspaper.
There I saw an article 'India finds another Gandhi'.
It was about Varun Gandhi, who is in news these days for his asinine comments.
Varun Gandhi is contesting in the upcoming general election.
There it was mentioned another Gandhi because he was compared with our great leader Mahatma gandhi who wanted equality for everyone, anyone can live in India in spite of their religion and they can follow their religious believes freely. On the other hand, Varun Gandhi wants only Hindus to reside in India.
Varun is well educated and is a young leader whose age is 29. He knows well that these type of comments can only disturb our country, can produce hatred among people and can be hindrance in the development of our country.
In spite of this, he used those words during his campaign and the only motive which seems behind the harangue was that he wanted to be popular among people and so he has become.
The question which arises is 'who is benefitted when this kind of hatred grows inside an individual of one religion about the people of another religion?'
The answer can be no one but one thing is sure of which history has proof that common man is harmed and not the leaders who creates such despicable condition.

The ignominious speech of Varun Gandhi either shows his intelligence or his imbecility.
I believe that he doesn't have a poor mind but his this intelligent step can lead to his failure because he still believes that people in India can be divided on the basis of religion to a larger extent for someone's benefit.
In this time, when some leaders and even the political parties are trying to change their extremist face, Varun gandhi is using this as a tool to get success.

The days have gone when leaders used to influence people using their religion and caste to get vote and we will have to eradicate this thinking totally if we really want our development and peace.
The ebullient nature which people shows in this stupid thing needs to be used in a proper direction.................
